Today was my 30th round of the year. It was unseasonably cold, only 51 at my 7:00 tee time, and it was very wet and misting and not expected to rise above 60. On #1, I hit a good 8 iron into the wind, but was short left of the green. I had a decent chip that left a 20 foot putt that I left short., but made the bogey. On #2, I hit a strong drive but pushed it right into the rough. I had an awkward stance and the ball was elevated in clover, I hit a decent 9 iron that ended up pin high but right of the green. I then hit a bad chip that did not make the green followed by one that did. I had a 6′ putt for bogey that I missed and ended up with a double bogey. On #3, I hit a good 8 iron that was right in front of the green but short., I putted from off the green and almost made the birdie, but settled for a par. On #4, I hit a good drive down the middle, followed by a great 3 wood. I was 75 yard out and hit a good sand wedge that left me a 23′ foot putt for birdie. I hit a great putt, that found the cup, but then did a 270 and came out, leaving a 6″ tap in for par. On #5, I hit a decent drive down the middle, this was followed by a sand wedge that should have been long enough but ended up on the fringe. I putted from 45 feet and came up 6 feet short and then missed the par put and ended up with a bogey. On #6, I hit a good drive up the right to avoid the still standing water, and then hit a 9 iron pin high but right of the green. I was able to putt from off the green and ran it right past the hole, I made the 3′ putt coming back for par. On #7, I hit a great 7 iron that hit the green but skipped over, stopping just short of the bunker which was a very awkward stance for a left hander (see attached).  I tried to putt from there, and ended up on the collar, 18′ from the cup. Likely, I sunk the putt for par. On #8, I hit a strong drive down the middle, followed by a sand wedge that stopped on the back of the green. I putted from 25′ feet and again almost sunk it, and had a tap in par. On #9, I hit a 7 iron that landed pin high and stayed on. I had an 18′ putt for birdie that I left 1 foot short and tapped in for par.

6 pars, 2 bogeys, 1 double. +4
