VA Golf 4/2 +4

Who would be disappointed after carding 5 pars and birdie, this guy.  Really threw away a magical round today. It was my 20th round of the year and it was in the low 40’s with the sunrise tee off. I hit an fantastic 8 iron on #1 that made the green, and left me 18 feet for birdie. The dew was heavy and the greens were wet, my putt was on line but just short and I tapped it in for par. On #2, I hit a good drive that was in the light rough on the right, I hit what I  thoughts was a great 9 iron that was on line but was just short of the green. I decided to putt from the off the green from 42′ and ran it just past the hole for another tap in par. On #3, I hit a great 3 wood, that turned left and found the back of the green. I had a 24′ birdie putt that was just left and another tap in par. I hit a decent driver followed by a good 3 wood right up the middle. I was 70 yards out and hit my approach wedge that was on the green. I had another birdie putt and missed it, but had a tap in for my 4th par in a row. On #5, I hit a decent teen shot, and I was 60 yards out, and hit a sand wedge over the flag, but landed on the green. I had another birdie putt from 24 feet, but I left it 4 feet short and then missed the par. I was pissed and took it out on my driver and hit a decent shot down the middle. I was 100 yard to the uphill green and hit a great 9 iron that was 9 feet from the cup. I made the birdie and moved back to even. There was absolutely no wind and I hit a 7 iron but pushed it short left. I then tried to chip with a 9 iron and duffed it and was on the fringe. I was 42 feet from the cup and again left it 4 feet short, and missed the bogey and made a double. On #8 I decided to take my anger out on the driver again, but hit it out of bounds right. I then hit a provisional in the tree left, but playable. I punched a 7 iron that stopped just short of the green side bunker on the right and was able to get up and down for another double bogey. I hit a 7 iron on #9 that stopped on the front of the green. I missed the birdie, but made the par. Had 7 legit birdie opportunities and only made 1 and 5 pars.
